DONATIONS

The Fair owes its success to our fabulous Bronte community helping out and donating all sorts of items. Check out the list below and see how you can join into help support our kids and teachers through P&C fundraising. Please note any locations/dates for when donations can be received.

Handmade Crafts

  • If you are a knitter, potter, sewer or crafter – we want your wares!

  • Do you have any unopened craft kits your child won’t use – please donate them as someone else will.

Jams & Preserves

  • Get the Thermomix going and the kraut fermenting. We want all kinds of bottled gourmet goodness.

  • Spice rubs, sauces and cordials welcome too.

Toy Stall

  • New and second-hand toys in very good condition and clean.

  • Please, no puzzles with missing pieces! Please make sure all games are intact and label them so we know they have been checked - thanks.

  • Loose Lego pieces most welcome, in a sealed bag or similar.

  • Please thoroughly wash and dry any soft toys before donating them or they will be “rejected”.

  • From Tuesday 13 August until Friday 16 August, donations will be received in the spare classroom next to 1G. Please be considerate when dropping things off as the students and teachers will be using the adjacent classroom. Before and after-school drop-offs preferred.

Book Stall

  • New and used books in good condition for all ages/interests.

  • DVDs for all ages/interests – please check DVDs are in the case and are in working order before donating.

  • From Tuesday 13 August until Friday 16 August donations will be received in the school hall.

  • From today, donations may be dropped off in neat bags or boxes to Jee Lok at 20 Hewlett Street, opposite the school.

Fashion

  • Marie Kondo your wardrobe and let it bring joy to someone else!

  • All BNWT items welcome and designer fashion in good condition – shoes and accessories included.

  • Please no very-worn items, damaged items, items with a low initial purchase value or casual clothes from a chain store.

  • Good quality children’s and baby clothes and accessories are also welcome.

  • Please ensure all clothing is cleaned or it will be discarded.

  • And please, no donations of any type of underwear or socks thank you.

  • From Tuesday 13 August until Friday 16 August clothing donations will be received in the school hall.

  • From today, items may be carefully dropped over the fence to Helen Barrow at 24 Turner Street in Bronte. Please ensure all bags are properly closed.

Whole Cakes & Café items

  • In the week before the Fair, every family at the school will be given a cake box to take home, please return filled with donations for either the Cake Stall, or the Bronte Café.

  • Whole cakes, plus individual items wanted.

  • Savoury items also welcome.
